Carob Bourbone Bones

Wag Wins Carob Bourbons are a replicate of the human ‘Bourbon’ Biscuits…but a chocolate-free and grain-free healthy treat for dogs! These Carob Bourbon biscuits are one of our doggy afternoon tea style biscuits. Presented as bone shaped biscuits engraved with the word ‘Bourbone’.

Dogs are allergic to chocolate, so to create the bourbon look alike biscuit, we used carob. Carob powder resembles cocoa powder, but does not have the same flavour and texture of chocolate. Cocoa powder and chocolate come from a different tropical pod to carob. Carob is also a good source of fibre and contains pectin (like apples) which helps flush toxins from the body. So unlike chocolate, carob is actually healthy for dogs, helping improve digestion, lowering cholesterol levels and even treating loose bowels.

These biscuits have a natural shelf life of 3 months and are also suitable for home-freezing up to 4 months. Each pack of biscuits contains approximately 100g.
